"A Christian family in communion with Jesus Christ."
Worship is held at 10:50 a.m. each Sunday morning in our main sanctuary.
Church Calendar
Our services follow and celebrate the seasons of the church calendar from Advent through Pentecost.
Although worship services are usually led by our Senior Minister, the Disciples of Christ believe that "both ministers and lay persons lead in worship, service, and spiritual growth", and that participation by lay persons and our licensed ministers is an important part of our services.
Elders pray over the communion bread and cup and then lead in the distribution of the communion elements.
Deacons serve communion and collect the offering.
Lay Worship Leaders provide prayers, greetings from the church, offering meditations, and scripture readings.
The Altar Guild prepares the sanctuary and communion elements prior to each service and is open to all church members who want to participate by preparing communion, preparing the sanctuary, or assisting with the Acolyte program.
The Chancel Choir contributes beauty and power to our worship through anthems and special music.
